The bluefin tuna fishing off the coast of new jersey is nothing short of amazing; the fish range in size from 80 - 600 pounds and are found as close as 5 miles from the beach.  Most fish are caught trolling but casting plugs and stick baits is also an effective means of hooking up

 

·       Guests are expected to arrive in Point Pleasant NJ and will be set up for three nights in a local hotel near the beach and marina

·       All gear is furnished

·       Two fishing days are included

·       One dinner at DANIELS BISTRO a Zagat rated restaurant within walking distance of Marina and Hotel

 

·       A DESIRE TO CATCH THE FISH OF A LIFETIME

·       We furnish water and soft drinks and a cooler with ice. 

·       Warm clothes should be worn depending on weather conditions

·       Comfortable deck shoes or light soled shoes, no BLACK soled shoes please

·       Slicker, sweat shirt, hat, gloves, etc.

WE cannot plan the trip too far in advance; as fishing reports, weather conditions and other factors play a huge part in planning this event...We will coordinate the trip directly with one another and communicate fishing and weather conditions

Capt. Mark Crescenzo was born 3 miles from the Manasquan Inlet which is home to some of the best fishing chased by some of the best captains on the east coast. He runs Control Freaks Sportfishing and has done numerous trips to the Canyons. His love for the Ocean is unmatched. His forte is Tuna fishing however he also targets striped bass and other inshore species.

He and his wife Sue share a home in the Florida Keys.

Their love for the Keys was inspired by the late Capt Jose Wejebe over 25 years ago when they were mesmerized by Jose’s TV show the Spanish Fly. One visit to the lower Keys and they were hooked.
